Monday meeting

ACTION: Approved the purchase of vehicles and other equipment for the road department.

DISCUSSION: The purchases included the following:

  • A 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 work truck from Schoner Chevrolet for $41,145 with a trade-in of $22,000 for a total of cost of $19,145.

  • A 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 5500 work truck from Schoner Chevrolet for $49,821, the lowest of two quotes obtained.

  • An aluminum truck utility body from Jomac LTD for $17,434.

  • Refurbishing, uplifting and remounting of a utility crane body from Jomac LTD for $23,825 to take a Chevy 3500 truck to a 2022 5500 truck.

  • Replacement of four strobe lightbars from Evans Supply at a cost of $6,328.

OTHER ACTIONS:

  • Paid bills as of March 14 in the amount of $113,424

  • Approved the purchase of 2,400 feet of pipe for the road department from Marlboro Supply, costing $17,232.

  • Authorized the purchase of equipment for two police cruisers from Hall Public Safety Upfitters for $27,107.

  • Approved getting a grant application together for Hartville-Lake Community Development of state Route 619 with landscaping, sidewalks and streetscape.

  • Went into executive session for employment matters, with no action taken.
