Lake Worth Students Hold Moment of Silence for Parkland Victims on Anniversary of School Shooting

High school students at a Lake Worth school held a moment of silence on February 14 to remember students and staff killed in the 2018 Parkland shootings.

Students at Park Vista Community High remembered the 17 staff and students who died at nearby Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, by placing 17 empty desks in the school courtyard to represent each victim.

The commemoration was one of many planned across Florida and the United States, according to local news reports. Credit: Shalynn_Kelly via Storyful
