Lakeland Community College featuring AI technologies panel

Feb. 13—Lakeland Community College has announced a panel discussion titled "AI in Action — Real World Uses for AI" slated for 12:30 p.m. Feb. 15.

The virtual event aims to bring together industry leaders across business, marketing, law and technology to discuss how artificial intelligence creates value in real-world business settings.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from Bradley Reynolds, senior vice president of artificial intelligence at Expedient; Adam Continenza, marketing and communications specialist at Lakeland Community College; and Ray Ling, in-house counsel at Progressive Insurance.

The trio will share how they leverage AI to improve efficiency, decision-making and outcomes within their respective fields.

Specific discussion topics will cover the impact of AI on jobs, required skills, ethical considerations, evolving uses of AI in content management and more.

Officials noted that attendees are encouraged to bring their questions for an engaging and insightful discussion.

Connie Golden, program chair of Lakeland's Business Management program, added that the growth of artificial intelligence across industries has been exponential.

"We're thrilled to host this panel of experts to unpack real-world applications and implications of this fast-moving, emerging technology," she said.
