LAKELAND — Police have released photos of four individuals that detectives think have additional information on the baby found dead in a dumpster.

The Lakeland Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify a man and three women who were traveling together in a red sedan early Thursday morning. Officers believe these people "have information related" to a deceased baby, but did not identify whether they are potential suspects.

At 6:03 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a call about a dead newborn boy in a bag inside a dumpster behind Just Move gym at 3625 S. Florida Ave. The umbilical cord and placenta were still attached.
