Laketran, Geauga Transit hosting hiring event

May 24—Laketran and Geauga Transit are hosting a hiring event from 1 to 6 p.m. May 30 to fill 25 part-time bus driver positions, officials announced this week.

The event will be held at Auburn Career Center, at 8140 Auburn Road in Concord Township.

Interviews are guaranteed to all applicants, the agencies confirmed.

No commercial driver's license is required and all training is paid.

A valid Ohio driver's license is required for an interview.

All applicants must pass a background check, a drug test, and an Ohio Department of Transportation physical.

Applicants must also be available for a six-week training class beginning June 12.
