A third flavor called Hank, which is M&M and chocolate chip, is available on the Love&Cookies website. The dough comes in frozen, pre-portioned balls ready for baking in the oven.
Ashley Cameron founded Love&Cookies in 2021 after her son Charlie received a Kawasaki Disease diagnosis at five years old. The disease is "the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children," according to a press release, and involves inflamed blood vessels.
After Charlie's first treatment, Cameron and her son baked their first batch of what would become Love&Cookies. Then, just six months later, Cameron decided to enter her Frozen Gourmet Cookie Dough into H-E-B's 2022 Quest for Texas Best competition. Love&Cookies won the first-place title, putting the cookie dough on shelves this year.
