Lamar Odom is opening up about his past with ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
In an interview with People, the former NBA player reflected on being unfaithful to the reality TV star, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2016.
“I wish I could have been more of a man,” he said. “It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.”
In his new memoir, "Darkness to Light," Odom also talks about his struggle with addiction. Despite Kardashian knowing about his infidelity, he told the magazine she still stood by his side when he was hospitalized following a 2015 overdose.
“I remember waking up and her showing me pictures of my mother,” Odom, whose mother died when he was 12, said. “I was surprised on how quick she was to show her devotion to me.”
He continued, "Her love for me must have been unconditional. That’s the only thing [I think] that gave her the strength to still love me at that time.”
