Lamont School Board recall election bid fails to collect enough signatures

Jan. 11—An effort to recall four members of the Lamont Elementary School District Board of Trustees is halted for now because not enough valid signatures were collected to place the matter on the ballot.

Adam Clark, the public information officer for the Kern County Auditor-Controller-County Clerk, Elections, said Thursday that the verification process has been completed.
