Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre Tried and Failed TikTok's Couple Flip Challenge

Celebrities are having a lot of fun on TikTok while social distancing, and To All the Boys I've Loved Before star Lana Condor is the latest star to show off her viral challenge skills — or, in this case, lack thereof — via the video platform.

Lana and her longtime boyfriend, musician and actor Anthony De La Torre, tried their hand at the popular TikTok "Couple Flip Challenge," where one partner bends over with their hands outstretched between their legs and the other partner grabs their hands and flips them over so they're straddling their chest. It looks easy, but Lana and Anthony gave it a try, and it seems to be a bit more difficult than they'd anticipated.

"Quarantine day 14. We’ve lost it," Lana wrote on Instagram, where she posted their results. "Here’s our attempt to do those 'couple challenge flip' thingies that we’ve been seeing on Tik Tok. And yes, it's as weird as it looks. Sorry in advance."

She and Anthony give the challenge their best try, but Lana can't stop laughing and their dog is eager to participate too, complicating things even further. "This doesn't seem like a good idea," Anthony says as the two attempt to complete the challenge, and, well, you'll see for yourself how it works out for the couple. (Spoiler alert: It doesn't.) Either way, we give them an A for effort, because they look like they're having a lot of fun.

Lana and Anthony also tried a couple's quiz challenge, which Anthony posted to his Instagram. They answer questions like "Who initiated the first kiss?" and "Who is the funny one?" (Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams just did this challenge too.) It's safe to say that Lana and Anthony did much better at this challenge than the couple's flip. We can't wait to see which TikTok challenges they attempt next!
