TranSystems Corp will use the report to create an architectural design for the facility.
“This project is critical to the public safety of Lancaster County, and it is important that we remain transparent and collaborative throughout this process,” said Lancaster County Commissioner Josh Parsons. “We look forward to the design team bringing to life the goals outlined in the programming draft, however, it is important that we move through this process deliberately and carefully.”
The plan does not finalize the size of the facility, number of beds, or construction budget. All of those factors will be finalized later in the design process.
