Lancaster County teen riding John Deere Gator arrested for DUI

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A teenager was arrested for riding a John Deere Gator while under the influence in Lancaster County, police said in a report.

The 19-year-old from West Earl Township had a BAC five times over the limit while operating a camouflaged John Deere Gator on March 17, just before 2:10 a.m., police said.

Police report the teen did not use his signal when he exited the Sheetz parking lot and turned onto the road. Police also noticed that the gator was not registered and pulled him over in the 100 block of S. State Street.

The officer saw signs of alcohol impairment on the teen during the traffic stop and proceeded to test him, and police said that it was determined he was not able to safely operate a vehicle.
