About 50 cats from a rescue shelter in Florida were flown to Massachusetts ahead of Hurricane Ian.

The cats arrived at Worcester Regional Airport Tuesday morning.

Ten of the cats are being cared for in North Brookfield at the Almost Home transport facility of Second Chance Animal Services.

The cats, who will receive any necessary veterinary care while completing a mandated quarantine, will eventually be put up for adoption.
