Landslides, flooding: Photos show aftermath of 'bomb cyclone' after it slams West Coast

Parts of the West Coast were hit by record-breaking rain and strong winds over the weekend as a"bomb cyclone"-fueled storm tore across Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
The storm, driven by a rapid drop in atmospheric pressure, caused flooding and mudslides near the Caldor Fire's burn scar.
More than 100,000 homes and businesses were without power in California Sunday. State Route 70 remains closed after a mudslide blocked the road.
In Washington, where over 170,000 were without power, two people were killed when a tree fell on their vehicle.
The storm has already swept across the nation, with New York City preparing for up to five inches of rain Tuesday. States of emergency were declared in New York and New Jersey Monday.
