All lanes on Bay Bridge westbound closed due to crash Saturday morning
All lanes on US-50 Bay Bridge westbound remained closed, as they have been for about three hours due to a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation Authority said in a post to X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another post said to expect major delays.
The transportation department’s X account first reported the accident at 8:21 a.m. As of 11:25 a.m., traffic cameras show multiple emergency vehicles on the scene.
To get traffic moving, MDTA is using the eastbound bridge for east- and westbound traffic, according to an X post.
