Tyshan Kelley contributed 15 points off the bench for LCC.

The Stars trailed by two at the intermission, but Muskegon (8-4, 5-1) used a hot-shooting second half to pull away. The Jayhawks shot 57.1% while outscoring LCC, 59-46, in the second half.

Vern Nash was one of seven players to score in double figures for Muskegon with a team-high 19 points.
