Lansing motorcycle crash kills one, police say

LANSING — One person died in a Friday evening motorcycle crash, Lansing police said.

The wreck happened about 8:50 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, said Sgt. Jason Spoelma of the Lansing Police Department.

He said the driver was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the wreck, no other vehicles were involved, Spoelma said.
