- An LAPD officer recently took to Facebook to write a letter to Lakers star LeBron James. In his letter, officer Deon Joseph said James' stance on policing shows a complete lack of understanding about the challenges of the job. The letter was in response to a recently deleted tweet by James that showed a picture of the Ohio police officer who shot and killed a 16-year-old girl seen on video lunging at a woman with a knife. Joseph said he hopes his letter reaches James and the two can sit down together and talk. James has not yet commented.
