Need a laptop for about $100? Here are 5 options with back-to-school deals

Back-to-school season is looming above Floridians as well as the need to stock up on essentials.

School use of technology in the classroom has continued to grow year-by-year. According to results of a survey by the National Center of Education, 45% of schools reported having a computer for each child and the COVID pandemic forcing students to work from home only drove up the trend of each student having their own computer or device.

Inflation, among other factors in today's economy, is making it difficult for many individuals and families to meet ends on basic needs before being able to consider devices for learning. Despite this strain, technology in the classroom isn't likely to face a downtrend anytime soon.

Here are five places where parents and students can buy affordable laptops before they head back into the classroom.
