Large landlord Katz Properties buys hundreds of apartment units in Milwaukee
One of Milwaukee's largest apartment building owners has added hundreds of apartment units to its portfolio.
On Tuesday, Katz Properties bought up a slate of apartments and commercial property from Blankstein Enterprises, another local apartment building owner.
The sale included 11 buildings — and a total of 784 units — according to investment firm CBRE, which facilitated the sale.
The final sale price was not disclosed.
The sale included:
The 196-unit Sunburst Apartments and 48-unit Howard Garden Apartments in Greenfield
The 164-unit Newbury Place Apartments in Oak Creek
376 units across eight assets in Shorewood and Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhood
A 2,520-sq.-ft. building leased to Einstein Bros. Bagels in Shorewood
Blankstein Enterprises has been selling off many of its properties recently. Just last week, two other Blankstein properties sold in Milwaukee and Sheboygan counties.
