Larimer County Health Department Will Give Out 1,000 Johnson & Johnson Vaccines To College Students

Students that are pre registered from CSU and Front Range Community College will receive the vaccine.

JIM BENNEMAN: 1,000 college students in Larimer County will be getting their COVID vaccines. That's one of today's top stories here on CBSN Denver. The county health department says it's giving 1,000 of the Johnson & Johnson doses to preregistered students at CSU, also Front Range Community College. The additional vaccines being provided by the State Health Department. Larimer County says with a higher percentage of more vulnerable groups getting the shot, the county is now focusing efforts on groups that continue to have high case rates like college students.
