Las Vegas man killed in Arizona shooting, authorities say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 40-year-old Las Vegas man died with a gunshot wound on Sunday in Golden Valley, Arizona, authorities said.

Information provided by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) identified the victim as Richard William Ward.

Deputies were called to the scene in the 2500 block of Naco Road at about 8 p.m.

A caller led deputies to the victim, who was unresponsive. Deputies initiated life-saving measures, but Ward died at the scene.
