Last COVID-19 Patient Discharged From Alabama Hospital
Hospital staff in Anniston, Alabama, celebrated a milestone after the last COVID-19 patient was discharged from the facility on Tuesday, May 25, hospital officials said.
Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center livestreamed this video on Facebook that shows Dr Raul Magadia making the announcement and staff cheering. The hospital said Tuesday’s announcement marked the first time in over a year that there were zero known COVID-19 patients in the COVID-19 ward.
