Last Friends of Legal Services book drop-off day is Saturday, March 23

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The second and final Book Drop-Off Day for the 38th Annual Friends of Legal Services Book Sale is Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MobileWorks building, 2116 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg (next to Snavely's Garden Corner).

The group accepts new and used books, plus CDs (including audio books), DVDs, sheet music, puzzles and board games, but not encyclopedias, textbooks or phonograph records.

The Friends of Legal Services group recently elected its 2024 officers: Joan Norcross, vice-president; Sue DeVos, president; and Shirley Shaner, secretary. Not shown is Amy Herrald, treasurer.

Receipts for tax purposes will be available by request.

Collection boxes will be available Monday, April 8, through Sunday, April 21, at various stores and offices in the area. The specific locations will be announced soon.

The book sale will be held Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, at Fayetteville Elementary School, 8 E. Main St., Fayetteville, Pa.
