Last-minute Valentine’s Day food deals for those who forgot to make dinner reservations

If you forgot to make dinner reservations for Valentine’s Day, there is no need to panic. Many local eateries will offer limited-time promotions and festive food offerings for the most romantic day of the year.

California Pizza Kitchen

  • CPK has a “Sweet Deal for Two” promotion available on Valentine’s Day.  With the Classic Package, which starts at $50, or the Adventure Package, which starts at $60, customers can enjoy an appetizer, two entrees and one dessert.

The chain is also selling its heart-shaped thin-crust pizza.

TGI Fridays

Guests can split a three-course meal for two for $50 until Feb. 19. The deal includes one shared appetizer, two entrees and a brownie for dessert. Customers can also add half-priced wine to their meals.

Marco’s Pizza

  • The chain will sell heart-shaped pizza for $9.99 until Valentine’s Day.

Papa John’s

Chick-fil-A

While the Georgia-based chicken restaurant won’t sell any heart-shaped dishes, customers can order 30 nuggets, 10 Chick-n-Minis, a dozen chocolate fudge brownie halves, or 6 chocolate chunk cookies served in a heart-shaped tray.

Shake Shack

Customers can purchase a Korean BBQ burger or Korean-style fried chicken sandwich and get a second one for free until Feb. 27. The delivery-only deal must be placed through the Shake Shack app or its website.

The company is also offering an “elevated table experience for two or four”  through its “Shake Shack Love Shack Dinner Series. Guests attending the event can choose between two prix fixe tasting menus, “Swicy Date Night” or “Umami Dinner Party,” while they enjoy an evening of live music.

The chain is offering complimentary dumplings to anyone who’s recently been dumped this Valentine’s Day. Until Feb. 21, customers can text CHANGSDUMPLINGS to 855-697-6181 to receive a free six-count of shrimp or pork dumplings.
