Who are the latest athletes to be inducted into Bucks County Sports Hall of Fame?

The Bucks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame will induct 15 new members at the Class of 2023 banquet on April 27.

The induction ceremony will be held at the Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs in Feasterville. Tickets are $45 each and include dinner. Tickets can be purchased at www.buckscountysportshof.com.

What follows is a capsule look at the 15 new inductees (in alphabetical order):

Lauren Baugher, Neshaminy, 1992

  • Three-year letter winner in field hockey, winning a PIAA championship.

  • Named Suburban One League first team in field hockey, basketball and softball as a junior and senior.

  • Three-sport athlete at University of Delaware, playing field hockey, lacrosse and softball.

  • Named to the U.S.A. Women’s Field Hockey World Cup Team in 2018 in Barcelona, Spain and led the team in scoring.

Caroline Doty, Germantown Academy, 2008

  • Native of Doylestown, she was a four-year participant in basketball, soccer and outdoor track at Germantown Academy.

  • Named a 2007 Parade Magazine Basketball Second Team All-American.

  • Received a basketball scholarship to University of Connecticut, where she started 130 games.

  • Won three NCAA basketball titles at Connecticut.

Tom Kane, Central Bucks East

  • Head coach of girls swimming team at CB East High School from 1976-2022.

  • Team won 12 consecutive league championships from 1993-2005.

  • Team won the District One Championship in the 1985-86 season.

  • Also inducted into the Central Bucks East Athletic Hall of Fame.

Jen Long, Central Bucks East, 2005

  • Four-year letter winner in field hockey and soccer.

  • Named first-team All-America in field hockey in 2004.

  • Member of the PIAA Championship field hockey team in 2002.

  • At Penn State University in field hockey, was a two-time first-team All-America selection.

Dennis Milne, Pennsbury, 1960 (deceased)

  • Three-year letter winner in golf

  • Played golf for four years at Wake Forest University.

  • Won 1964 Atlantic Coast Conference individual title.

  • Was the PGA Professional at Trenton Country Club from 1966-2020.

Lisa Palmer, Harry S. Truman, 1985

  • Two-year member of the field hockey team.

  • Three-year member of the softball team as starting pitcher.

  • Named All-American in softball at the University of Virginia in 1989.

  • Elected to Bristol Township Hall of Fame in 1997.

Christina Quinn, Central Bucks East, 1996

  • The pitcher on the Patriots' 1995 PIAA District One title team, she went 27-2.

  • A four-year starter at pitcher at the University of Virginia.

  • Threw two no-hitters at Virginia.

  • Was inducted into the Central Bucks East Hall of Fame in 1990.

Lindsay Rheiner, Council Rock North, 2011

  • Standout in lacrosse, winter track and cross country for four years.

  • Won PIAA cross-country individual title as a senior.

  • Three-year starter in lacrosse at the United States Naval Academy.

  • Named to the Patriot League's first team in cross country in 2014.

Ed Riley, Neshaminy, 1971

  • Three-year starter in baseball.

  • Helped lead team to Lower Bucks County Championships in 1970-71.

  • In 1970 pitched a no-hitter against Council Rock High school to clinch championship.

  • Spent eight years in the Montreal Expos and Baltimore minor-league systems.

Jenn Wolfgang-Rush, William Tennent, 1994

  • A four-year letter winner in soccer, three-year starter in basketball and three-year letter winner in field hockey.

  • Starter on the basketball team and three-year letter winner on the field hockey team.

  • Named Female Athlete of The Year when she graduated from Kutztown University.

  • From 2000-2005, was the head field hockey coach at Delaware Valley College. In her second year, the team set a record for wins and she was named MAC Coach of The Year.

  • Inducted into the William Tennent High School and Kutztown University Halls of Fame.

Sara Sargent, Pennsbury, 2013

  • Four-year letter winner in cross country, winter track, and spring track.

  • Was a four-time all-state selection in cross country.

  • Set the PIAA state record in the two-mile run.

  • Named Gatorade Pennsylvania Runner of The Year in 2011.

Karli Schilling, Central Bucks West, 1996

  • Four-year letter winner in soccer.

  • Named All-America in soccer as a senior.

  • Set school records for most goals in a career (74) and in a season (27).

  • Played on four PIAA championship teams.

Three athletic directors are also being inducted in the Legends category:

Bob Buckanavage, Pennsbury

  • Became Pennsbury's athletic director in 1975.

  • Helped facilitate the move of the Lower Bucks County League to the Suburban OneLeague in the early 1980s.

  • Author of over 20 publications concerning athletics, coaching, professional development and Athletic Administration.

  • Inducted into the inaugural PSADA Hall of Fame, Shenandoah High School Wall of Fame, Pennsbury Athletic Hall of Fame, Jerry Wolman Chapter of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, NIAA Hall of Fame, National Association of Secondary School Hall of Fame.

Ray Kelly, Neshaminy

  • Became Neshaminy's athletic director in 1983.

  • Helped facilitate the move of the Lower Bucks County League to the Suburban One League in the early 1980s.

  • Received Suburban One League Lifetime Achievement Award.

  • Inducted into the Neshaminy Football Hall of Fame and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Neshaminy All-Sports Hall of Fame.

Lou Pacchioli, Bucks County Community College

  • Was a professor, coach and department chairperson at Bucks County Community College for 37 years.

  • Coached baseball for 30 years, wrestling for 14 years, men’s soccer for four years, women's soccer for four years and women's volleyball for three years at BCCC.

  • William Tennent High School's athletic director for 14 years.

  • Received Suburban One League Lifetime Achievement Award.
