Latest CDC guideline for COVID-19 vaccine could impact Maryland's rollout

Maryland health officials are working to get the COVID-19 vaccine into as many arms as possible as federal officials change guidelines for who should get the shot. In a sweeping move Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced strong recommendations to lower the age of vaccine eligibility from 75 to 65, as well as to those with pre-existing conditions, in an effort to expand the vaccination process.
