Latest Gesture from Brad Pitt May Indicate He's Trying to Win Back Jennifer Anniston

Back in the 1990s, there wasn't a bigger power couple than Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Two of the most beautiful people in Hollywood had found each other and became the standard of film royalty. Things would, unfortunately, change, though, as the couple filed for divorce in 2005. Pitt went on to marry Angelina Jolie after starring with her in the film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith shorting after the divorce proceedings. Aniston, on the other hand, would go on to marry Justin Theroux. But now with both stars newly single, it's being suggested that Pitt is attempting to rekindle a relationship with Aniston, a move that the world would undoubtedly support. Here's the latest.

Their 'Happy Place'

Back during the couple's good times, they bought a house in the Hollywood Hills. This was 'their' house that they had together and as Aniston states, was their 'happy place'. It served as their residence during the early courtship days the two stars had together. Well, fast forward to 2019 and the house that the two had once owned together is back on the market and Pitt acted quickly by purchasing their former property. A close source to Pitt shared the motive to New Idea.

The House That Was and Can Be

According to a source close to Pitt, the motive to purchase the house was a move intended to show Aniston how serious he was about beginning a future together and picking up where they left off. The source shared, "As soon as the house went on the market back in May, Brad knew that buying it back would prove to Jen just how serious he is about building a future with her." The source went on to further explain why the home was so special to the couple and perhaps, why it still is to this day. "They put their heart and soul into renovating the place and turning it into their dream home while they were married and Brad knows just how devastated Jen was to have to give up the house she always referred to as ‘their happy place’," the source told New Idea.

The Purchase

As soon as Pitt learned that the property was up for sale, he contacted the realtor and the property owner, himself. Ironically, the ownerof the Hollywood Hills home was secretly hoping that Pitt would buy the property back when he put it on the market. The source close to Pitt shared, "All Brad wants is to be back in their home with Jen and start where they left off – making all the memories in the home they always dreamed they would make together and showing it to his kids too. He’s praying this gesture will be the icing on the cake for Jen and she’ll put all her insecurities aside and see how desperate Brad is to put things right and make this fresh start together."

Your Move, Jen

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston set the bar for what it is to be a Hollywood couple back in the 1990s. And from the look of things, it appears that Pitt is attempting to rekindle that relationship, one that could make a blockbuster movie, itself. Whether or not Aniston will accept the gesture and decide to give things another try, has yet to be determined. It's safe to say, though, that everyone is cheering for the two to get back together. I mean, it's Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, right?
