JERUSALEM (AP) — The Latest on the situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories (all times local):

Israel's national rescue agency says a 17-year-old Israeli girl died of wounds from an explosion in the West Bank earlier in the day that the Israeli military has described as a Palestinian attack.

Initially, three Israelis were said to have been wounded in the blast on Friday near the Dolev settlement, northwest of Jerusalem.

The Israeli rescue agency, known as Magen David Adom, says the girl's 21-year-old brother was in a serious condition. It says their 46-year-old father was moderately wounded.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered condolences to the family and vowed to pursue perpetrators and "strengthen" Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank.

The family was at a water spring when the explosion occurred. It wasn't immediately clear if the explosive device was thrown at them or had been planted there earlier.

Israeli paramedics say three Israelis have been seriously wounded in an explosion near a West Bank settlement.

The Israeli military says it suspects the explosion on Friday near the Dolev settlement, northwest of Jerusalem, to be a Palestinian attack. There were no further details.

Israel's rescue service, known as Magen David Adom, said the three wounded are between 18 and 46 years old.

Tensions have been high in the West Bank in recent weeks, fueled by clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police at a Jerusalem holy site revered by both.
