Lava Flows From Kilauea Volcano on Hawaii's Big Island

Lava flowed from the Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island on Thursday, September 30, after a new eruption began the previous day, video captured by Evelyn Higgins shows.

According to the USGS, activity was seen from vents along the floor and western wall of Halemaumau crater, where all lava activity was confined as of Friday morning. Credit: @pachamama_challa via Storyful
