Looking to chow down on some Vietnamese fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 5185 W. Baseline Road in Laveen, the fresh addition is called Pho Bowl.

On the menu, expect to find soup bowls, vermicelli bowls, rice plates with shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables and banh mi sandwiches. When it comes to entrees, look for beef and broccoli, Mi Xao, with egg noodles, broccoli, carrots, onions, bok-choy and celery in a chicken sauce and the Hu tieu xao, which includes ride noodles served with bean sprouts, onions and cilantro with a special sauce.

Pho Bowl is getting solid feedback thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Lindsay R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 13, wrote, "The food is pretty good. The orange chicken was delicious. Enjoyed the salted prawns, my daughter loved the spicy beef pho. Overall, our experience was great."

Yelper Rick F. added, “Underwhelming overall. Shrimp spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was delicious. The rolls would have benefited from more variety of herbs – they were very one note. The pho with meatballs and rare beef was uninspired and the meatballs were a very processed product.   The rare beef wasn't any better.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Pho Bowl is open from 9:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday and 9:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
