Law students help Baltimore City youth learn conflict mediation skills

Law students are helping Baltimore City school students learn peer mediation amid increasing youth violence. City students are getting peer mediation training from students at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Since 2005. law students with the law school's Dispute Resolution Program have facilitated conflict resolution training at city schools. On Friday, they worked with students at Benjamin Franklin High School and City Springs Elementary/Middle School.
