Lawson's Finest Liquids announced its 2022 beer release calendar, with several stalwarts available year-round: Sip of Sunshine, Little Sip, and for the first time, Scrag Mountain Pils, a Czech-style lager, according to a news release.

Super Session #3, featuring Comet hops, will also be available year-round, as well as Brave Little State Pale Ale, a collaboration with Vermont Public Radio with a portion of sales benefitting "independent journalism throughout the region," including VPR. Brave Little State Pale Ale is brewed with barley, wheat and hops sourced from Vermont.

The Lawson's calendar features six specialty releases:

• Hopzilla, a "brawny bitter and dry-hopped India Pale Ale," will be distributed during January and February.

• Double Sunshine with Ruby Red Grapefruit will be available in March and April.

• Scrag Mountain Pils with Sale and Lime will be available in May, June and July.

• Hopcelot, made with eight varieties of hops from around the world, will be available in July and August.

• Big Hoppy, a dark IPA with roasted barley flavors will be available in September and October.

• Lawson's Finest annual barrel-aged release will close out the year in November and December.

"We're bringing back some of our most coveted specialty brews for the second straight year, and for the very first time, offering Double Sunshine IPA with Ruby Red Grapefruit outside of Vermont," Sean Lawson, CEO and found brewer, said in a news release.

In addition to Vermont, Lawson's is distributed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. The full year-round distribution calendar is available online.
