Lay’s Has Three New Summer-Inspired Chip Flavors That Sound Seriously Delicious

It’s already time for warm-weather treats to make their way to shelves. Frito-Lay’s Lay’s has not just one, not two, but three flavors that will be rolling out for 2021 summer. Each one showcases a different part of the season that makes it such a fun time for flavors.

For a limited time, you’ll be able to get Lay’s Chile Mango, Wavy Jerk Chicken, and Summer BLT chips. As you can tell just from the names alone, they involve foods that you’d especially dive into in June, July, and August. So whether you’re going for a tropical bite or something you’d find on the grill, Lay’s is clearly hitting the mark.

  • Lay’s Chile Mango: The tropical chip combines the flavor of mango with the spice and tang of chile peppers

  • Lay’s Wavy Jerk Chicken: The island-y chip combines traditional spicy, sweet, and smoky jerk flavor

  • Lay’s Summer BLT: The picnic-ready chip combines lettuce and tomato flavors with bacon taste

All of the new flavors were recently listed on SmartLabel.org, which gave advanced insight into the chips that even Lay’s hasn’t announced yet. It looks like they’ll be available in 2 5/8-ounce and 7¾-ounce bags. The packaging indicates that the Chile Mango, Wavy Jerk Chicken, and Summer BLT flavors are a “limited summer flavor,” which means there won’t be a huge window for you to snack on them.
