Layoffs coming at Fisher-Price HQ in East Aurora, exact number unclear

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — There will be layoffs at the Fisher-Price headquarters in East Aurora, Mattel told News 4 on Tuesday.

Mattel did not disclose the number of employees that will be laid off, but said that some of the employees in East Aurora have been offered other roles in other area of the company.

There will not be a change in the location of the headquarters, which is on Girard Avenue in East Aurora.

The layoffs comes as Fisher-Price is moving some of its business to offices in California, most notably its “preschool” operations. “Fisher-Price-Core,” however, will still be managed in East Aurora.
