LCSO responds to stabbing, arrests man for attempted murder, kidnapping

A man was arrested and charged early Wednesday morning with attempted murder and kidnapping of a woman.

Just before 1 a.m., deputies were responding to a stabbing when they found Robert Ihrke III, 37, in bloodstained clothes, according to a Leon County Sheriff's Office press release. The woman was inside the residence located in the 19000 block of Bloxham Cutoff, which runs through the Apalachicola National Forest in the southwestern part of Leon County. She had multiple lacerations and stab wounds.

She was taken to the hospital to treat her non-life-threatening injuries, according to the press release.

This attack was roughly 6 hours after another stabbing incident in the Tallahassee area, at Hudson and Jakes & Patterson streets, Tuesday evening.

Ihrke was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility.
