Those interested in making healthier lifestyle choices while in the workplace can get guidance from Louisiana Christian University students who are hosting lifestyle presentations Wednesday. The presentations are open to the community.

HP 403 Health Promotion will offer informative and hands-on demonstrations that others can learn from and use, states a release issued by LCU.

“Students will present on what most employees want to learn more about incorporating at the workplace,” stated Sonia Tinsley, chair of the Department of Health and Exercise Science, in the release. “Physical activity, stress management, nutrition, managing diabetes, heart health, etc. However, the information is applicable to anyone not just employees.”

The sessions will be held in H.O. West Classroom. The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday 

9:05 a.m.: Stress Management

9:25 a.m.: Heart Health – Blood pressure and cholesterol

9:45 a.m.: Diabetes
