Leadership Lake County welcomes three to its board

Mar. 25—Leadership Lake County recently announced three new directors have been elected to serve on its Board of Directors.

They are Gretchen Skok DiSanto, Andy Rose and Dr. Robyn Strosaker, and each will serve terms that started March 1 and conclude June 30, 2026. Associate Director Samantha Crookall also was elected to a full director position for the same dates.

"We felt it is important for us to fill the open director positions prior to the new CEO coming on board later this spring," current Leadership Lake County CEO Jessie Baginski stated in a news release. "We want to ensure that he or she has a strong, diverse and highly engaged board to begin their transition into leading an organization as vital to our community as Leadership Lake County."

DiSanto is a Leadership Lake County Signature Class of 2015 graduate. She is a professor at Lakeland Community College and is the director of the Entrepreneurship Center and assistant director of the Ohio Small Business Development Center, the release stated.

She has a doctorate in business management, a master's degree in urban studies, a master's degree in nonprofit organizations and a bachelor's degree in classics.

Rose is a Leadership Lake County Signature Class of 2015 graduate and has served Concord Township as the administrator since 2018. He previously served as administrative services manager for the city of Mentor, according to the release.

Rose has a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Strosaker is the president and chief operating officer of University Hospitals Lake Health TriPoint, Lake West and Beachwood Medical Centers. She is a physician in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and associate professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

"We are delighted to bring these exceptional community leaders on to the Leadership Lake County Board of Directors," Board Chair Laurie Principe stated in the release. "Along with their board colleagues, they will ensure that the organization thrives into the future."
