LEAF to hold virtual Continuing Education Options Series

Mar. 30—LEAF — the Lake/Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation — announced it will be holding a free virtual Continuing Education Options Series.

The first, on manufacturing, will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 3. Attendees can learn more about the opportunities in Northeast Ohio for a rewarding career path right after high school, according to a news release.

Next, military service will be the topic at 6:30 p.m. April 10. Attendees can learn about career and educational opportunities in the United States Military branches that will help them get their future started.

Finally, skilled trades and training programs will be discussed at 6:30 p.m. April 24. Aimed at those who love to work with their hands, experts and program directors will talk more about career opportunities in skilled trades, apprenticeships, and other vocational post secondary options, the release stated

LEAF is a non-profit that provides services to Northeast Ohio residents and families that are interested in enrolling in career technical programs, community colleges, four-year colleges, and universities, according to the release.
