Leaked image gives us our first look at Google’s 4K Chromecast Ultra
Next Tuesday, Google is going to hold a massive launch event in San Francisco, where it is expected to debut two Android smartphones (Pixel and Pixel XL), the AI-powered Google Home personal assistant, the Google Wifi router, a Daydream VR headset and a 4K-capable streaming media player called the Chromecast Ultra.

An Android Police report from this month claims that the Chromecast Ultra will retail for $69 — double that of the regular Chromecast's $35 price tag. Sources referenced in the same report say that HDR will also be on the list of features for the new streaming dongle, but most of the details remain shrouded in mystery.
So now that you know how much it's going to cost and a little about what it can do, you probably want to see what the Chromecast Ultra actually looks like. Lucky for you (and the rest of us), Evan Blass of VentureBeat has gotten his hands on a very official looking image of the Ultra HD streaming device:
Although we have no proof that the image is legitimate, Blass has a very good track record with these kinds of leaks. Don't be surprised if you see the exact image above floating around the internet next week when Google sends out press kits with photos of all of its latest hardware.
