Learn about turnpike cashless tolling during Wellington Chamber Coffee

WELLINGTON, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Turnpike Authority and Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB will host a Chamber Coffee for residents to learn about the new cashless tolling system.

The new system, which will be fully operational by July, uses license plate scanners and K-TAG readers for those who have them installed in their vehicles. The system eliminates the need to stop and prevents traffic congestion during peak travel times.
