JACKSON TWP. − Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce will host Stark Forum: State of the Workforce from 8 to 11 a.m. March 31 at Stark State College, 6200 Frank Ave NW.

Key statewide and regional leaders will address workforce challenges and seek solutions in both the public and private sector. The event will be in Silk Auditorium, Science Building & Public Services.

Attendees will hear from statewide leaders including Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose; President Pro Tempore, Ohio Senate, Kirk Schuring; President of The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association Ryan Augsburger; Stark State College President Para Jones, and Kevin Hoggatt, director of State Government Affairs for Ohio at Intel Corporation.

Learn more about their workforce development efforts and gain insights as the community collaborates to identify, train, and develop the workers who will fuel future growth. Alongside inflation and continued economic disruptions, recruitment and retention of employees remain a top concern for the business community.
