At least 1 person displaced after fire in Harrison Twp.

At least one person was displaced after a fire in Harrison Township Sunday.

Crews were called to the 4100 block of Fer Don Road to reports of a fire around 11 a.m.

When crews arrived on the scene and saw smoke coming from the roof, according to fire officials on the scene.

Fire officials said someone inside the home saw smoke coming from the basement and quickly got out of the house before calling for help.

Harrison Township fire crews along with Clayton and Dayton crews were able to quickly knock down the fire.

The Red Cross was called to help the resident inside the home due to damage done by smoke.

It is not known what caused the fire or an estimate of damages.
