UPDATE: Power restored after 4,000 outages in Montgomery County

Power has been restored to thousands of people in Montgomery County.

AES Ohio reported as many as 4,071 customers in Montgomery County were without power just after 6:30 a.m. this morning.

It was mainly concentrated in the Dayton Mall area, Mary Kabel of AES Ohio told News Center 7.

Power was restored to all areas after 7:30 a.m. this morning.

AES Ohio is reporting 4,071 customers in Montgomery County are without power as of 6:39 a.m., according to the AES Ohio outage map.

It is mainly concentrated in the Dayton Mall area.

This includes Centerville, Miamisburg, and West Carrollton, Mary Kabel from AES Ohio told News Center 7.

She says crews are out working to restore power.
