At least 8 people killed in Indiana mass shooting
Victims of the shooting at an Indianapolis FedEx facility include employees of the company. ABC News’ Mona Kosar Abdi reports.

Almost 50 people have died in eight shootings since March 13.

President Joe Biden, faced with yet another mass shooting on his watch, said Friday that the news of at least eight Americans killed in Indianapolis on Thursday night has "become too normal." "Too many Americans are dying every single day from gun violence," Biden said Friday morning in a written statement. Biden said that he had been briefed on the shooting at the FedEx facility in Indianapolis, and ordered the flags lowered to half-staff in honor of those who died "just two weeks after I gave the last such order."

The Indianapolis Police Department said it appears Hole died by suicide after carrying out Thursday night's mass shooting.

Several victims were also injured in the shooting before the suspect killed himself. Authorities are trying to determine a motive. It’s the latest in a series of recent high-profile mass shootings.

Inspections of Boeing (NYSE: BA) 737 MAX jets grounded last week have reportedly turned up additional potential electrical issues, raising questions about the scale and size of a potential fix. Boeing on April 8 requested that about 60 737 MAX jets be grounded temporarily to address potential electrical system problems in the jets, a move that impacted 16 airlines, including Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV), American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL), and United Airlines Holdings (NASDAQ: UAL). Boeing, according to an Aviation Week report, has since discovered the issues extend beyond the area originally flagged.
