At least 9 people displaced following apartment fire in Atlanta
The Red Cross is helping at least 9 people after a fire at an Atlanta apartment complex damaged 4 units.

It happened Sunday morning just before 10:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Honeysuckle Lane. The address is of Shamrock Gardens apartments. Officials say they received reports of a water heater on fire.
Fire crews arrived within five minutes and reportedly seen the roof on fire of the three-story building.

According to Atlanta fire officials, crews removed one woman who was entrapped in a second-floor unit. No other injuries were reported.
The Red Cross says they are assisting the 9 victims who were displaced with temporary lodging, food, clothing and personal care items.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
