At least one dead, two others hospitalized from crash in Northwest Miami-Dade

At least one person has died and two others have been hospitalized after a crash in Golden Glades, according to WSVN.

Channel 7 first reported that Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue teams arrived just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday to the area of Northwest 136th Street and Seventh Avenue.

Video footage from the scene showed two vehicles crumpled as if they were made of paper. There was also a yellow tarp covering what Channel 7 believed to be the body of a victim.

Two others were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Their condition was unknown, according to WSVN.

The roadways in the area are reportedly closed as officers continue their investigation.
