Hurricane Fiona left at least two dead and thousands displaced in the Dominican Republic, according to local media.

Local media, citing the Emergency Operations Center (COE), reported that two people had died, thousands were displaced, and several communities were left isolated after the country was hit by Hurricane Fiona, which had strengthened to a Category 4 storm as it moved north on Wednesday, September 21.
