LeBron James is just 36 points away from passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's NBA record for most career points. The current Lakers forward is in his 20th season in the league, whereas the Abdul-Jabbar set the current record during his 21 NBA seasons.

James, who has 38,352 career points, faces the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday before taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder at home on Tuesday. With a season average of about 30 points per game, it's within the realm of possibility that the Ohio-native could set the NBA record against the Thunder.

So, how many points has James historically put up against the Thunder?
