LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell call out Wisconsin police who shot a Black man 7 times in the back: ‘F the games and the playoffs. This is sick'

LeBron James and Donovan Mitchell are not staying silent on the latest despicable act of police brutality against a Black man.

“And y’all wonder why we say what we say about the Police,” James wrote in a post on Twitter after seeing the graphic video of Wisconsin police shooting 29-year-old Jacob Blake seven times in the back as he walked to and opened the door of a parked car in Kenosha, WI.

“Someone please tell me WTF is this???!!! Exactly another black man being targeted. This shit is so wrong and so sad!! Feel so sorry for him, his family and OUR PEOPLE!! We want JUSTICE.”

Blake was shot at close range on Sunday “in broad daylight,” according to Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, in front of his three children, who were inside the parked SUV. Blake was trying to de-escalate a situation between two other people before police arrived, according to attorney Benjamin Crump.
