LeBron James: A first look at the biographical 'Shooting Stars' which will show on Peacock

Peacock will stream "Shooting Stars," the biographical film about LeBron James days at St. Vincent-Mary High School and how his career began June 2.

The film shot in parts of Akron and other parts of Northeast Ohio nearly ago at various locations including the University of Akron. Adapted from the Buzz Bissinger James biography "Shooting Stars" it focuses on James and friends Sian Cotton, Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee and Romeo Travis, who all played at St. Vincent-Mary under coaches Keith Dambrot and current Irish head coach Dru Joyce II.

It will be the second time that James and his friends feature prominently in a film. "More than a Game," a documentary directed by Kristopher Belman was released in 2008.
